Two points lost

0-0.

Quite frustrating In the end If I'm honest. United didn't really turn up (just like their support) but did enough in defence to stop us getting what would have been a deserved win. Well actually United's defence was only half the story, the other half being Crouchie's seeming inability to not only score but control the ball and win headers.

I don't want to turn this into a Crouch rant as he has done some great stuff for us in the past but he simply isn't cutting it at the moment. The cries of 'Jermian Defoe - he's a yido' went either unnoticed or ignored by Harry until the 78th minute. When quite frankly it was too late for him to make an impact. Shame.
I really don't remember him winning a header until the 60(ish) minute, quite frankly this is just plain poor for a striker that's 6ft 7 - he should at least be winning headers!

I guess it shows how far we've come as a team when we are disappointed with a draw against united, a couple of years ago this would have been an achievement - however turning them over was always going a toughie considering their unbeaten status this year.

One day, just one day Rooney will be sent off for the constant stream of filth that comes out of his mouth towards the ref, maybe Rafael's sending off was a little harsh but Rooney should have definitely been shown the card...and the underside of someone's boot at the same time!

Rooney and Rafael showing their class...
On the plus side we did manage another clean sheet!

Overall it was a good team performance, we shut United out of the game and played pretty well - special mention for Dawson and Gallas who not only defended fantastically but also played well further up the field. We should have won but alas our win-less streak against them continues.

The day also brought a number of protests in and out of the stadium. 'We are N17' were collecting signatures for the petition and drumming up support in the ground and a large group of fans made their opinions heard outside the main gate - getting quite a lot of police attention in the process!

Special mention to the girl who climbed up to the TV studio and displayed an anti Stratford banner, you may have got escorted out of the ground but you are true yido! See this linky for a handy video on youtube!

My final point is a bit of a moan. The best bit about watching Spurs in the Park Lane end is the atmosphere! This comes not only from the constant singing but from standing which just adds to the whole experience. Having a steward moaning at you for standing for 90 minutes does not add to this experience.
I understand the club policy with regards to standing, I've read the piece in the program and I've (repeatedly) been told about it in the ground.
If they are going to (excuse the pun) make a stand against...standing then it has to be everywhere in the ground - no one said a word to the away fans which just makes a mockery of it really.

Being threatened with a ban for asking a question about this however is not something I deserve or want when I'm paying £50 for a ticket. Trust me I voiced my opinion - as did the multitude of people around me.
