Would somebody shut her up?!?

There Is one person at the moment who is rather rapidly shooting up 'My List', to the point that I don't think I would care If she met an 'untimely end'. Ok so maybe thats going a little far (or maybe not?) but you can't help but feel anything other than bitter hatred for Karren Brady.

Just when you think the Olympic Stadium debate is slowing down and might finally get out of the news for 10 minutes BAM along comes Karren Brady and makes a public arse of herself once again. She just craves It - right now I could make a joke about her cravings and working with porn barons but ill leave that one for now.

Seemingly not content with comparing our OS plans to demolishing children's schools, global terrorism and AIDS (ok scratch the last two) she has now used our failure at the World Cup as a reason for West Ham to get the vote! You tell me why this is relevant as I haven't got a clue!

Its getting to the point now that I'm starting to lean in favour of the OS just so that I can go to Upton Park and give her the finger! (No more porn baron jokes please). This does get in the may somewhat of my 'We Are N17' beliefs!

Anyway aside from her frankly ridiculous comments there have been a few developments that i'm sure you have all seen. As you may or may not know It is expected that a decision on the preferred bidder will be made this week at some point and as a result Levy has come out fighting, big time actually. I think a lot of it is to defend the Tottenham corner from Brady's verbal diarrhea so In that respect fair play.

He does talk his fair share of rubbish as well though - apparently the 'vast majority' of Spurs fans are in favour of moving to Stratford. Not sure where this has come from as he hasn't asked for my opinion.

The last couple of days have seen him come out with an interview with TalkSport and he gave an interview for the Evening Standard - handily put on the Tottenham website.
Both say the same sort of stuff we've seen before - that word viable is used quite a bit but he pretty much says that the NDP is dead, actually he uses the word currently which does scream conspiracy but ill leave that for other people.

Spurs also released the image below showing what our new stadium would look like In Stratford:

Basically its the NDP with The City in the background and some boxers/people playing badminton (?) in the foreground. Oh and It appears that Thorpe Park are our new bidding partners as well.
This image does look very rushed though and even the cockerel looks slightly wonkey (go ahead zoom in).

Anyway I'm going to leave this for now, no doubt I'll return to this issue later in the week.

The news however that really excites me is that our own Ledley King is having surgery and should be training in two weeks - they don't specify what 'training' is but hopefully that will mean we will see him playing again soon!

Check back tomorrow for the entry that I promised on Sunday - a look at our match support! (unless the OPLC make an announcement!)
